Hi, I’m Kristi Mason, founder of Welltricity and a Harvard-certified health coach. My journey started with a wake-up call: someone close to me was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and handed a prescription and pamphlet—no talk about lifestyle changes or real guidance.

Then came my own health battles—bloating, brain fog, constant fatigue. My doctor’s response? 'That’s just part of being a woman.' I couldn't accept that and I knew there had to be more to it. Discovering that most doctors get minimal training in health and lifestyle was the final straw. So, I set out to find real answers—and that’s how Welltricity was born.

Traveling has taken me many places, but living in Italy was a game-changer. I was savoring pasta, pizza, and all the Italian dishes daily and felt amazing. It completely flipped what I’d been taught: carbs are the enemy.

My time there taught me a few big lessons:

No obsessing over diet fads or “superfoods.”

Meals were slow, with good company and rich conversation.

Fresh, local ingredients were the stars of every meal.

The difference from the American lifestyle was huge. Enjoying foods I’d once avoided yet feeling great made me see wellness in a whole new light. It’s not about avoiding carbs; it’s about our entire approach to food, from ingredients to mindset.
